1) Using Chemicals to Remove Epoxy Coating

A shot blaster consists of an airless, centrifugal wheel that controls the flow of the fine metal beads when they are used on the surface of the floor. You have to use this over the surface where the epoxy coating has to be removed. Shot blasting is a quicker method. But, you should only use this method if the thickness of the floor coating is quite small.

Diamond grinding is a more methodical approach than shot blasting. In this method, grit sanding pads are kept in the rotating head of the grinder, and then it is applied over the surface where the floor coating needs to be removed.
